DUG
6 STYLES
6 styles of the Dug font family by Central Type.
INFORMATION
Dug is a bottom-heavy, ultra bold display family that evokes the personality and warmth of the best fonts of the psychedelic era. Dug is available in 3 standard styles as well as matching italic versions. For even more versatility and added control, Dug is also available as a variable font.

Dug's general look is inspired by the late 1960s trend towards exaggerated heaviness in the base of the letters. This look can often be found in custom lettering featured on candy packaging, album covers, and book jackets of that era. A number of notable commercial typefaces from that time also feature the look (Village, Bottleneck, Obese, Scorpio).

Dug is a contemporary interpretation of the "bottom-heavy" style. Drawn with large round shapes and sturdy geometric sans construction. Dug is big, loud, and friendly. It's boldness lends itself to be decorated with inlines, outlines, shadows, and other shading techniques.
