Central Script in a non-connecting script font family available in 6 weights. It's a contemporary take on a mostly neglected genre of of type. The hope was to take a fresh approach to a style that is mostly resigned to hot rod logos and kitschy 50s diners. Central Script is ideally suited for short, bold headlines and logotypes.

Central Script takes cues from some of the finer examples of the genre including Futura Script, Harlow, Varga, and Gillies Gothic. While these classics all have merit, none of them quite captured what we were going for with Central Script. It combines the energy and grace of a bold script, but with the legibility of a geometric sans serif.

For added versatility, Central Type also includes a number of alternate letters to experiment with. Like all Central Type fonts, Central Script is packed with a robust set of diacritics and special characters for thorough language support.
